Summer WorkSmart classes

begin in May!

Mentoring

Mentors are a key element of our Workforce Readiness and Life Skills Program because our participants need women to pray with and encourage them during the 8 weeks of classes and beyond.

MENTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Agree and guide your mentee in agreement with our Statement of Faith.

  • Attend a DCWJC mentor training (virtually or in-person).

  • Mentor a DCWJC participant for 3 months or more.

DCWJC MENTOR STATEMENT OF FAITH:

  • We believe in the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

  • We believe the Bible is God’s Holy Word.

  • We believe that salvation comes, through God’s grace, by believing that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. It is only through Him (Jesus) that we can receive salvation.

  • We believe that once we are saved, the Holy Spirit indwells within us to instruct, guide, and empower us to live in union with Jesus Christ.
